NIRVANA:
A unique hybrid permanent magnet motor, combined with a frequency inverter, make it the only true variable speed drive compressor. As such, a NIRVANA delivers air at a constant pressure, regardless of demand, with the lowest energy costs.
The NIRVANA package increases or decreases speed and horsepower to produce the exact air flow and pressure required.
Typically, NIRVANA uses about 22 percent less energy than conventional compressors. Adding to the savings, a NIRVANA system requires fewer parts and less maintenance than other compressors.
NIRVANAs have no motor bearings, gears, pulleys, belts or couplings to wear out, leak or replace. Reduced maintenance means lower life-cycle costs and increased reliability.

Reciprocating Air Compressors
Reciprocating Air Compressors:
Reciprocating compressors use the stroke of a piston to compress air.
A single-stage compressor discharges air at a pressure of 125 psi. A two-stage reciprocating compressor delivers air pressure to 175 psi. In either case, the recommended operating pressure is 80-90 psi.
Recent Ingersoll-Rand enhancements in cooling design allow our two-stage compressors to operate at a 100 percent duty cycle.
